snickers cookies.

I have this weakness for baked goods.
Anyone that knows me knows that I would much rather bake something sweet than actually cook a meal.
I also have some free time during the day.
free time + a love of baking = a lot of cookies.
at least in my case.

these cookies are amazing.
if you like snickers, you will LOVE these.
if you don't really like snickers, you'll still love these.
i'm not joking.

first off, you'll unwrap these lovelies.
ps. don't mind the rolos in the background.
those are for another day.
mix up the dough.
make sure its not too sticky or
it'll stick to your hands and not the snickers.
if it is, just add a little bit more flour
until it no longer sticks to your hands.

flatten out about 1tablespoon of dough.
maybe a teeny bit more.
place a snickers in the middle.

roll it all up. place on a cookie sheet.
then bake it. 350 degrees.
about 10-12 minutes or until nice and golden brown.

let them cool on the cookie sheet.
then move them to a wire rack.
but don't move them too soon or the snickers will fall out.
and that would be tragic.

then get a glass of milk, a couple of warm cookies,
and enjoy a delicious minute, all to your self.

Snickers Cookies.

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar

Mix until creamy.
Then add:

2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour  [I had to do an extra ½ c because it was still sticky]

Mix until smooth.
Make sure it’s not too sticky or you’ll have a hard time rolling it around the mini snickers.
Roll tablespoon of dough around each mini snickers [Two 9 oz bags] and place on cookie sheet.
Back at 350 for 10-12 mins or until golden brown.

Let cool on cookie sheet for 5-10 mins then transfer to cooling rack.
Don’t move them to the cooling rack too soon or the snickers will fall out the bottom of the cookie…
